Happy 15th Birthday Jasmine!

 Bazinga!  It's Jas' new word from her favorite character.

Jas turned 15 and we still can't believe it.  I picked up her driver's ed book from the DMV so she can start studying for her permit.  Since her birthday fell on Thanksgivng weekend, she decided to wait a week to have her party.  These are pictures from having cake on her birthday.  And please, I know these are like the worst pics ever.  We really just hung around the house since it was black friday and did not get dressed for the occation.  And yes, I forgot to buy candles.  She's lucky I found a 5 hidden in the drawer! 



Happy Thanksgiving!

 This year we played it low-key for Thanksgiving.  I did, however, make my white trash, brown paper bag turkey.  Although, I only cooked a turkey breast.  It was enough for us and still very juicy and delicious! 

I also cooked a ham requested by Jasmine, green been casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, pasta salad and deviled eggs.  We had lots of food left over for seconds and leftovers.  But it was all good the next couple of days too.

She was so happy to get a new iPod.  It was nothing fancy, just a little, new nano.  But it was exactly what she asked for but wasn't expecting to get.  Happy Birthday Maya!  We love you!
