We had some excitement tonight experiencing a 5.3 magnitude earthquake. It happened at 8:08pm and lasted about 20 seconds. The actual earthquake was about 100 miles away and at a depth of about 70 miles under the ocean floor. It was nowhere near the extent of the earthquake in Haiti. We only felt some light shaking. We are very thankful that we are all well here but our hearts go out to those in Haiti.
