A Taste of Asia

Charlie's sister called the other day and said her daughter is doing a project on Asia (how convenient). She was asking if we could send anything about where we live (why, of course!). So we went to our local travel center and picked up one of every brochure and magazine of places to travel here. They are neat because they are in Japanese on one side and in English on the other side. We bought a few things around town: an origami crane, umbrella, shisha dogs, chopsticks and a package of candy and snacks. I also printed off a lot of pictures we took of castles, shrines, people and landscapes of Japan, Thailand and China. She's sure to get an A on this project. How many kids from small town NC can say they have family in Japan?
